☀️ บทสนทนากับดวงอาทิตย์ (VR) โดยอภิชาติพงศ์ วีระเศรษฐกุล กำลังเดินทางมาสู่ผู้ชมในวาระของเทศกาลหนังทดลองกรุงเทพ ครั้งที่ 7 นี้
ผลงานชิ้นนี้เป็นการผสมผสานเทคโนโลยี VR การแสดง และภาพเคลื่อนไหวเข้าด้วยกัน ซึ่งเป็นสื่อกลางในการเชิญชวนให้สํารวจปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างองค์ประกอบและแนวคิดต่าง ๆ เช่น ความทรงจำ แสง และวัฏจักรของการดํารงอยู่ การออกแบบเสียงที่สร้างสรรค์โดย ริวอิจิ ซากาโมโตะ เป็นแกนหลักทางอารมณ์ของผลงานชิ้นนี้ ซึ่งสะท้อนแนวคิดเรื่องการเปลี่ยนแปลง การสลายตัว และความไร้ที่สิ้นสุด ในขณะที่คัตสึยะ ทานิกุจิ ศิลปินดิจิทัลชาวญี่ปุ่น เสริมความสมบูรณ์ให้กับงานด้วยภูมิทัศน์ VR ที่ได้รับการรังสรรค์ออกมาจากจินตนาการเพื่อสะท้อนความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างแสงและเงา

☀️ We are excited that 𝗔 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗻 (𝗩𝗥) by Apichatpong Weerasethakul will make its debut at One Bangkok Forum on the occasion of the 7th Bangkok Experimental Film Festival this year!
This profoundly evocative interdisciplinary work comprises virtual reality, performance, and moving images which invite you to explore the interactions between a multitude of elements and concepts; memory, light, and the cyclical nature of existence.
The sound design, crafted by the late Ryuichi Sakamoto, forms the understated, yet, emotional backbone of this work, resonating with themes of transformation, dissolution, and infinity. Katsuya Taniguchi, a Japanese digital artist, complements the experience with richly imagined VR landscapes that evoke an interplay of shadow and movement.
